Welcome to our Tenebrae service for this Good Friday, landing on April 18, 2025.
This service will be different from what we’re used to. It is more solemn, sombre, and reflective. You can see the bulletin for this service here. The order is mostly around the reading of the Passion narrative, and there will be hymns and the extinguishing of candles.
If you are viewing this at home, you may want to dim your lights. You are welcome to have 8 lit candles in your space if you have them, and you can extinguish one every time one is extinguished in the service. At the end, you may spend a few moments in quiet contemplation.
