Sermon for the BC Synod Convention

Hello dear reader,

As you might have gathered, the BC Synod, the provincially organized branch of our national church, met this weekend for its biennial (but now moving to triennial) convention, at which we conducted business and elections to positions around our Synod.  We also worshipped together, and our bishop Greg Mohr had prepared a sermon for this weekend as all our sisters and brothers around the Synod together prayed and discussed the future of our church in our context.  This is the sermon at that preached this morning at Grace Lutheran and at most of the churches around the Synod.  The sermon wasn’t based on the texts scheduled for today, but on Acts 16:6-15.  You will find the full text of the sermon in the following link:

Thanks be to God!  Peace be with you all.
