CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: As the COVID restrictions around BC have become more lenient, we have decided to open our physical building for worship again. We continue to sanitize, distance, and mask, and ask if any of you are feeling ill or showing any of the COVID symptoms that you stay home and attend the service online. The services will be posted in the blog section of this website as well as on our YouTube channel every Sunday starting at 10am. It is our hope that you all can still feel nourished by God’s Word even through these changing times.
UKRAINE EMERGENCY APPEAL: The ELCIC through its partnership with CLWR calls on its members to respond through prayer and financial support to the urgent humanitarian needs in Ukraine. Individuals wishing to support relief efforts can donate in the following ways:

VIGIL FOR PEACE- Prayers for Ukraine and the World: The BC Synod is putting out a weekly prayer service for peace in Ukraine and around the world on Zoom every Friday evening at 7:00pm for roughly 15 minutes. Please contact us if you wish to attend for the Zoom details.
BIBLE BOOK CLUB: We have started a book club in conjunction with the ELCIC’s initiative toward more scripture reading within our church. We meet every month having read an assigned book of the bible and discuss it with the provided questions. If you would like to join the club, please contact Pastor Nathan for more information.
OUTREACH RESOURCE CENTRE: We have teamed up with Burnaby’s ORC to provide roughly 150 sandwiches to the less fortunate in our community every couple of weeks. When we started this ministry in the Spring of 2020 we were asked to make less than 100 sandwiches, which tells us that the need continues to grow. If you are willing to participate in this ministry, please contact our office. We meet in the church with safety protocols in place for about an hour roughly once a month on a rotational basis.
SABBATICAL: Pastor Nathan will be on sabbatical from April 25-August 22, 2022. Pastor Lori-Anne Boutin-Crawford will be leading worship in May, June, and July. There will be NO WORSHIP SERVICES on August 7th, 14th, and 21st and Pastor Nathan’s first Sunday back will be August 28th.
